What are your hours of business?
I'm in the salon Tuesday through Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM. Late afternoon, and evening appointments can be scheduled by request.
I am out of the salon on Sunday and Monday, so if you contact me on those days, I usually respond back on Tuesday morning.
How long can I expect my appointment to take?
Of course, different service requests and hair types require different amounts of time, but typically I would say...
Haircuts... 30-45 minutes
Hair color and highlights... About an hour - 1 1/2 hours
Hair color and a haircut...1 1/2 hours - 2 hours
Partial Highlights... 1 hour
I'll always do my best to work efficiently, and I understand that your time is valuable to you. As much as, I look forward to visiting with you and taking care of your hair care needs, I understand that not everyone wants to spend a large portion of their day sitting in a salon.
Of course, there are the exceptions. ;)
Do you take credit cards?
Yes, I take all major credit cards, including American Express.
What is the best way to make an appointment?
There are a few ways to contact me about making an appointment.
You can call or text me at 512.771.3840.
If you text, just be sure to include your name, so I know who is texting me.
Or, you can email me at contact@michaelbartononline.com
You can, also, contact me through myspace, or facebook.
It all boils down to what ever way works best for you.
How much is it if I just need my bangs trimmed?
Sometimes, you're not quite ready for an overall haircut, but your bangs are out of control.
Well, your in luck...
After your first visit, all bang trims are complimentary.
Should I wash my hair before I come in to get hair color or an updo?
No, if at all possible. The natural oils from your hair help in producing better results, during the coloring process.
Also, hair pins tend to slip out of clean hair, when getting an updo.
Unwashed hair is easier to sculpt and work with when creating formal styles.
What if I'm running behind for my appointment?
I understand that, sometimes, unforeseen circumstances can cause us to run behind. If you are running behind, I just ask that you please call me and let me know. That way I know that you are at least on your way.
9 times out of 10, it always works out just fine.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
Again, I understand that "stuff happens", and sometimes we need to reschedule. I just ask that, as soon as you know that you won't be able to make your appointment, you call, text or email me to let me know.
